National Volunteer Week

Betty Ann Horbul can always be counted on to support our students with weekly reading in our Grade 1–2 classroom. Her consistency, patience, and genuine care help foster a love of reading and build confidence in our young learners. The relationships she builds with students are truly meaningful and lasting. Beyond the classroom, Betty Ann also gives her time to the broader community through her support of the food bank and other local initiatives.

Kathy Loreto is a cornerstone of our school’s special monthly nutrition breakfast. Whether it’s arriving early to prepare meals, organizing groceries, cooking special lunches, or ensuring everything is cleaned up and ready for the next day, Kathy does it all with heart and dedication. Her efforts help ensure our students are nourished, cared for, and ready to learn.

Thank you for making Schumacher Public School a stronger, kinder, and more connected place for everyone.
