It is a time to recognize the women, girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ individuals across Canada who have experienced, and continue to face, gender-based discrimination and violence, including human trafficking. It is also a moment to honour and remember those whose lives have been taken.
Together, we can take meaningful action to prevent and address gender-based violence by learning, speaking up, and seeking help when we encounter harmful behaviours or situations.
